Chapter 117 - Grouping

Chapter 117: Grouping

"Forty-three more to go," Aakesh murmured as he glanced at three headless corpses lying on his feet. He then turned around and left for the closest location.

"Three more," One person whispered while looking at the emerald on their hand that showed forty-three bright lines, while thirty lines were darker.

The being then looked at the house behind him, and a smile appeared on their face, seeing 'Town Head' written in giant letters on top of the building.

On the other side, Aakesh reached the closest location from his memory. When he arrived there, he found around two hundred converts and three radicals were praying to their God in a language only known to Fiyeli.

"O Lord Volgoxas, we've prepared sacrifices for you. Please show us our way," one of the radicals said in his language, but since Aakesh had the knowledge of every language, he understood the meaning.

The other radical then told the convert what to say. It meant, "O, dear God Volgoxas, we're ready to sacrifice ourselves for you. Please show them the way." The converts didn't know the meaning of what they were speaking, but since Aakesh was already going to kill them, he didn't care.

Aakesh rushed to the group of radicals first. "Thud!" the next moment, the soft sound of something falling to the ground rang as the head of the radical in right flew.

Before the others realized what was going on, Aakesh punched a radical in the head and crushed the heart of the other. The group of radicals died in no time as their corpses fell on the ground with a loud sound, waking every convert up from his prayer.

The converts screamed in horror, seeing the corpses of the clerics, but before their scream died down, Aakesh appeared in the midst of them and started killing everyone expressionlessly.

Many tried to fight him, but Aakesh didn't even have to use half of his power to crush their heads in a punch. Seeing the massacre around them made many of the converts run for their life, but Aakesh chased every single one of them and killed them by either severing their heads or crushing their hearts.

A few minutes later, Aakesh looked back and saw the trail of the corpses. No expression appeared in his eyes as he murmured, "Forty more to go." He then left the area in search of more radicals.

After then Aakesh searched for hours, but he didn't find a single radical. He didn't know that after he killed the last group of radicals, their leader ordered them to move in a large group in place of three members, so currently, there were only three groups of radicals. One group contained 20 radicals; the other group had 19, while the last group consisted of only their leader.

Aakesh didn't give up and continued searching for the radicals. He finally found a group of 19 radicals talking in one corner of the market. Since several murders had occurred across town during the past couple of days, the market had become even more empty.

Aakesh didn't look worried seeing 19 radicals at the same time. Instead, a smile appeared on his face as the quest became easier for him. But he had to stop as he got the alert from the system that morning had arrived in the Visteerna.

"Let's hope I found you at this place next time I come here," Aakesh mumbled, and the next moment, he disappeared from the Panagea. While the radicals continued chatting about the issue of murders, unaware of the tragedy they were going to face a moment before.

The next moment, he appeared in the store. He then took a bath to freshen himself, and after that, he opened the door.

"Greetings, senior!"

"Greetings, senior!"

Pento and Mark greeted Aakesh simultaneously after entering the store. The other people in the crowd then followed and greeted Aakesh.

Aakesh nodded in response to their greetings, turned around, and went to his chair. He then sat down on it and looked at the crowd.

"Senior, the same routine for us!" Pento said.

Aakesh nodded, and the next moment, 3600 inferior Primal stones got deducted from Pento's top card.

After Pento got the alert for the successful payment, he proceeded to the portal room, and the other members of the group followed him. Today they had smiles on their faces because they were just one step away from completing their quest in Panagea.

Since they started entering Panagea with nine members, the fighting became easier for them. And in return, Elves got more room to fight and a window to breathe, which made the killing rate of metal wolves increase by several folds.

After the group of Pento left, Pallas's boss also asked for six hours and mental healing pills. They then proceeded toward the portal room, and the left group of guards went outside to wait for their turn after three hours.

Time flew by, and around an hour had passed when Aakesh heard the sound of footsteps. He opened his eyes and looked at the door of the store. He noticed Punta wearing a guise entering the store.

"Give me three mental healing pills," Punta asked for the pills right away as he took out 150 ordinary Primal stones from his space ring and handed them to Aakesh.

Aakesh nodded and got up from his chair. He went to the counter, took three mental healing pills, and returned to his chair. He then handed it over to Punta.

A smile appeared on Punta's face as he took the pills from Aakesh's hands. He then ate one right away, and a feeling of bliss appeared on his face the next moment.

"Is the portal empty?" He then asked Aakesh as he saw Pento's guards standing at the door.

"Yes," Aakesh expressionlessly responded as one virtual portal was currently empty.

Aakesh nodded and told him to pay 200 inferior Primal stones for six hours. Punta nodded and handed him the required amount.

"The portal that isn't gray is empty," Aakesh then told Punta while pointing at the portal room.

Punta nodded in understanding and proceeded toward the portal room. He found the only empty portal in the corner of the room. He then went to it and entered it.. The next moment, he found himself in an unfamiliar environment.
