Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System!

275 A Draconian Song! (Part-2)

“What the Fuck!”

“This power is too beyond what we can contend against!”

“Retreat at full speed!”

Their jaws slacked, falling to touch the ground when they saw a huge body of water suddenly falling towards them.

The Dragon’s Pond may look like a tsunami, but the force it contained was several hundred, if not a thousand, times more than one.

Boom!

The land was overturned.

The shore opposite to Roy shattered into pieces as his dragon’s pond ravaged it.

Submerged by it, thousands of evil hexes were assaulted by intense draconian pressure.

Pop! Pop! Pop!

Their poor selves, unable to withstand it, exploded like balloons.

The medium that was holding their corrupt souls disappeared. Voss, although thousands of miles away, could still feel it. These souls weren’t exactly his, but he had imbued a dot-like wisp of his eternal soul in them, gaining full control over them. He recalled them, hoping to absorb them to “strengthen” his soul.

That’s the way he grew from nothing to the status of a self-proclaimed evil god. He first enticed others into coming close to him and then corrupted their soul using a part of his own. And when they died, he absorbed their entire soul and, as a result, grew stronger. He repeated this process until he gained an Eternal Soul and became an Evil God. If not for Ninam sealing him, he would have grown unbelievably strong.

But this time, things didn’t happen as it expected.

The souls that were moving towards him suddenly headed towards Roy as if attracted by a mysterious force.

The system’s notifications rang in his mind.

『Ding! Congratulation. You have killed 5555 of Voss’s sons』

『You gained 55k EXP』

『You gained 55 soul spell strengthening shards』

“Hold on to me tightly.”

Roy said to his wife as he picked her up, carrying her in his arms. Her eyes widened. She wasn’t expecting him to princess carry her. But she really liked this. Being held by him in this way made her heart flutter. She wrapped her slender but powerful arms around his neck, although she was taken aback by the suddenness of his actions.

Whoosh!

With just a flap of his wings, he caught up to Tevenlor, leaving the evil hexes in his dust. On top of that, the Dragon’s Pond and the shore with the Dragon’s Tree rose from the ground, following him.

“Mongrel! How dare you steal my fruits and things from me?! Leave your damned life behind!” Voss roared.

Roy was taking away his hope to escape the Ashen Land and had also stolen the fruits he had been cultivating for years. These fruits were better known as the souls of the beings he corrupted.

This enraged him thoroughly.

He wanted to see him dead.

“Annihilate him, even if it means killing the bitch in his hands.”

The eyes of his sons were like his own. He clearly saw them embracing each other and flying towards the exit. That’s why he said that to his fastest and most ferocious troop.

Roy and his party had covered one-third of the distance between them and the portal when an entire troop of Voss’s army flew into the cave in large numbers, chasing after them.

“Blast them down!”

Thousands of Evil Hexes opened their mouths so wide that the skin on the edges of their lips ripped apart as they flew upwards and closed in on them. Unbelievably cold and extremely dark breaths curled at the back of their throats, instantly fusing into one, condensing into an arrowhead.

“Release!” The leader of the platoon commanded.

Following its order, all of them jerked their heads forward simultaneously, and the arrowheads spewed out of their mouths, shooting towards one person.

Whoosh!

The arrowheads whizzed through the air, heading straight towards Roy’s back.

Completely forgetting that she promised to keep her eyes shut, the Formless Siren looked over Roy’s shoulder and caught sight of this situation.

“Lookout!”

Immediately, she shouted at Roy.

He replied to her in the most unique way possible.

“Tevenlor, catch.”

Roy threw her towards his capable knight like a ball.

Tevenlor caught his adoptive niece and heard his voice again.

“Take her to safety.” Roy felt at ease, seeing her in Tevenlor’s hold and flying away.

“What about you?!”

Tevenlor shouted at Roy as he settled the violent Female Siren on his shoulder like a rice bag. He wasn’t a human and didn’t know how to treat the fairer sex gently. Not to mention, she was his adoptive niece. He had no feelings for her. Furthermore, what she was doing was suicide. She couldn’t return to her husband’s side. Not at this time. That’s why he roughly placed her over his shoulder and flew upwards.

“Just do as I said!”

Roy did a U-turn in mid-air and flew towards the arrows.

“We are not leaving him behind.”

It was quite clear to the Formless Siren that her husband was planning to buy time for them to escape.

She glared at her adoptive uncle but got immediately shot down.

“Yes, we are.”

No matter how much she tried to struggle, Tevenlor didn’t let her escape. He gritted his teeth and flapped his powerful wings, raising gusts of wind and flying straight towards the portal with the Formless Siren.

“No!!!”

Voss and the Formless Siren screamed at the same time. They screamed for different reasons. One was scared senseless seeing thousands of arrows closing down on Roy, and the other was losing his shit over seeing that she was close to escaping.

Roy looked down. Reflected in his eyes was death. He was being attacked from every direction. But he was calm, completely unfettered. It’s like he wasn’t the one being attacked but someone else.

Roy closed his eyes, recalling everything he had learned so far, using all his knowledge to create a song.

A song unique to his race.

A song so unique that it has never been sung before.

A song that only a Dragon’s Disciple with the power of darkness can sing.

A song like no other!

A blink of an eye later, Roy’s eyes snapped open, and he stretched out his hand towards the incoming arrows.

“First Song of the Dragon’s Disciple: Descent of the Demonic Dragon God!”
