I Became The Childhood Friend of the Obsessive Second Male Lead

Chapter 106

Chapter 106

While following Noel through the porch, halls and stairs, servants and maids flocked to see this rare sight.

Rieta looked like she was going to die of embarrassment, but Noel was steadfast, and he led Rieta to the front of her room.

“Then, excuse me. Rest well. Princess.”

Rieta hurriedly slipped into her room as he greeted her.

As she stood with her back against the door, her mind was about to explode.

What the hell is that?

Is it a new kind of bullying?

Is it because it suddenly started getting hot lately?

If not, did Hugh McLean give Noel some weird medicine?!

Otherwise, there’s no way Noel would do something like that, right?

Rieta put her ear gently against the tightly closed door.

Fortunately, she did not feel a presence in front of her door.

She opened the door slightly, and as she looked out into the hallway, she saw Noel’s back as he walked away.

He doesn’t walk like he usually does, but with a very upright posture.

How can he walk so nicely?

“. . . It doesn’t suit you.”

Did he hear that murmur?

Noel looked back slightly, and their eyes met.

“. . . !”

Riea was startled, and she quickly slammed the door shut.

“What, what is that!”

After she unconsciously let out a scream, she somehow lost strength in her legs and collapsed into place.

Noel became weird.

Seriously weird.

* * *

Noel’s strange behavior continued until that evening.

He took the chair out for Rieta at dinner, and he matched his eating pace with her.

However, Rieta did not let her vigilance slow down.

She never knew when his mouth would come out with insults like ‘Are you crazy?’ or ‘Stupid Princess’.

. . . Surprisingly, none of that happened.

And the next morning.

Was it because summer was approaching?

Rieta opened her eyes in a gloomy mood. She was sweaty all over.

Sticky.

As she thought so, she gently rolled down the blanket and saw the maid opening the curtains and windows.

“. . . Hello.”

When greeted with a cracked voice, the maid said, ‘Good morning. Princess,’ warmly.

Somehow, that voice sounded more happy today. It seems to smell good too.

Hmm?

There was no scent in anyone’s voice.

How did she feel that there was a scent in the voice?

I must have not yet awakened.

Rieta rubbed the corners of her eyes with her little hand and turned around in the bed.

Then Rieta could feel the scent, which she had just smelled, more vividly.

The source of the scent was not the maid’s voice, but the bouquet.

A very large bouquet of flowers,

Rieta jumped out of bed.

Here, her favorite flower, as well as other flowers, were mixed and blended together beautifully.

In addition, it was so big that Rieta could hold it with her two arms.

“Wow, what is this?”

Rieta asked in a very excited voice.

She wasn’t very refreshed because it was sticky and hot just a little while ago, but now it’s different.

She felt good enough to fly far, very far.

“Isn’t it pretty? These are flowers that were delivered this morning.”

“So early?”

Rieta wondered if today was a special day.

But there is nothing . . .

“I have to thank the Duke.”

There’s nothing today, but the Duke gave her a happy feeling with the flowers like this.

After all, the Duke was the right person for the male lead role.

Noel was half the Duke.

No, if only he was half, Rieta’s efforts could be reduced.

“No, Princess.”

“Huh?”

The maid began to pour water into the large vase.

“These flowers were not ordered by the Duke.”

“Oh, then it must be Darrel. I heard that he was busy in the academy again . . .”

Knowing that Rieta would be sad, Darrel seemed to have given her flowers.

Instead, he asked her to smile a lot while looking at the flowers.

Seriously, Darrel was a person who had no lack for being the male lead.

He was handsome, kind and had the virtue of giving flowers in such a way.

“Oh my gosh, Princess. These flowers were sent by Young Master Noel.”

“. . .Huh?”

“He prepared it as he said he wanted the Princess to feel good when you wake up in the morning. He even picked all the flowers himself.”

Why? Why would Noel do that?

Rieta looked down at the flowers that Noel had chosen.

Ah. I see.

This must be a sign that yesterday’s pranks are all over!

Because the last time he gave her flowers, he said frankly, ‘That gift wasn’t from me.’

He might be trying to say, ‘Yesterday I was out of my mind,’ as he gives her flowers this time too!

Rieta, holding the bouquet, quickly came down from the bed

“Princess?”

The maid called with surprise, but Rieta did not hear it.

She had to see Noel right away.

And she had to figure out what the hell happened yesterday.

Rieta needed to know everything about Noel.
